Taking into account the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron about the probability of the appearance of NATO troops in Ukraine, such a scenario in the war of the aggressor Russia against Ukraine has ceased to be fantastic.
Garry Kasparov, the 13th world chess champion, Russian chess player and politician living in the US, expressed this opinion in an interview with Dmitry Gordon.
“Do you believe that troops from the Alliance countries will come to Ukraine and fight against Russia?”
“For now, I’ll say this: it’s not science fiction anymore. This has not yet become a political reality, but it is obvious that the changing political situation in America is beginning to force Europeans to change their ideas, to decide what will happen next. It’s not even a matter of saving Ukraine.”
Putin himself says: “No, no, we will go on, we will go on.” And in the West, they understand that the statements of the drunken Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, are actually Putin’s. What is sober in the mind is drunk on the tongue. And when Medvedev comes out and speaks in front of the map of Europe, they understand that this is what awaits them,” explained Kasparov.
According to him, “you don’t need to be Napoleon” for Europeans to understand: “fight Putin (who is gathering Ukrainians from the newly occupied territories) near Warsaw or fight the same Ukrainians against Putin near Kyiv.”
“It is clear that the European armies are not ready for such a battle, but I remind you that France has a very powerful aviation. And I believe that if Macron does something, it will of course not be the ground forces, it will of course be the French aviation,” Kasparov said.
