He is accused of “participating in the preparation of photos and videos that were to be published on the YouTube channel NavalnyLIVE, one of the platforms used by A. Navalny’s team,” the court said.

A. Navalny, one of the fiercest critics of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government apparatus, died in February under mysterious circumstances in an Arctic prison.

His movement is recognized as extremist, and its workers and supporters face criminal prosecution.

Most of Navalny’s allies live in exile or are serving long prison sentences.

In March, Antonina Kravtsova, a correspondent for the independent TV station SotaVision, who covered the trial of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, was also detained on charges of extremism.
