One of the most prominent groups on the American jazz scene today will crown the international festival “Kaunas jazz” that spread across different cities and towns this week, according to a press release.

This year, Snarky Puppy is celebrating its 20th anniversary – that’s how many years ago this band was formed by students at the University of North Texas. “This year, we have prepared a very broad program – in terms of scope, it is equivalent to several smaller festivals put together,” says Kaunas Jazz organizer Jonas Jučas, “We want to include as many people as possible in the group of fans, so we invite them to additional events, we offer entertainment for children, and every year the audience is increasing a bit.”
J. Jučas smiles – although this year’s festival will end only in December, the team is already planning the next year’s events little by little, when Kaunas Jazz will bring people together for the 35th time.
