Military experts: Russians are trying to raze Chasiv Yar to the ground

Kupjansk. A day ago, experts announced that the aggressor’s forces had moved in the sector. More and more evidence is coming in today, recording the movement of units of the 47th Panzer Division towards the contact line.

It seems that the aggressor will try to renew the attack on the Kyslivka – Tabaivka – Berestovė section, with the intention of exiting to the Oskil River to reach the Kupjansko Vuzlovyjus – Senkovė section and block Kupjanska from the southeast and south.

It cannot be ruled out that soon the Russian units in Lyman Pershii – Pershotravneve will also become active. In the event of an attack, they could try to block Kupjanska from the north-northeast. So, hot weeks are likely ahead.

Lyman. Heavy fighting takes place in the Ternai – Jampolivka – Torskė section and in the forests of the southern flank. No changes in the contact line.

Syverska. Heavy fighting near Bilohorivka and Vesela continues.

The units of the aggressor’s 2nd corps (former “separats” unit) obviously do not cope with the task of creating conditions for the attack towards Syversk. There is a possibility that the occupiers here can use the units of the 106th Airborne Division standing in reserve ahead of time, which were possibly intended specifically for the assault on Syversk.

Chasiv Yar. Heavy fighting continues, the Russians are unable to block the city from the north and south, let alone cross the canal. Their task is made even more difficult by the Ukrainian defenders’ regained positions south of Ivanivsk and the unsuccessful Russian attack near Klishijivka. As a result, the Russians are pounding the city with artillery and aviation, trying to raze it to the ground.

Pokrovsk – Vuhledar. Northern flank. The aggressor expands his wedge around Ocheretyne and moves towards the defense-critical heights in the west and northeast. What is worrying is not the speed and depth of the advance, but its continuity, as the Russians expand their positions every day.

Center. The Ukrainians hold the Neitailove – Nevelska section, but the problems on the northern and southern flanks may affect the center as well.

Southern flank. The aggressor managed to advance on the southeastern outskirts of Krasnohorivka, but the situation is dynamic. The Ukrainians are counter-attacking, concentrating artillery and drone strikes.

Experts remind us that Krasnohorivka is a kind of gate from which the aggressor could turn north to the flank of Nevelsk and/or move along the highlands to the west towards Kurahivka – Gostre, thus freeing his forces trapped in the lowlands of Heorhijivka.

The Russians are trying to push forward from Novomychailivka, entrench themselves in the hills in the northwest (Paraskovijivka) and thus bypass Konstyantinivka from the northern heights. Heavy fighting continues.

Both sides attack the Robotynė wedge and try to improve their tactical position.
