Business education and experience exchange program “Business flight” was launched in the Kaunas region

The Innovation Agency, together with its partners, invited young entrepreneurs of the country to join the “Business Flight” program for training and exchange of experience for small and medium-sized businesses. The purpose of the program is to promote the creation, growth and development of start-up small and medium-sized business entities in the regions of Lithuania. After the Kaunas district municipality became a partner of the regional business development program for the first time, 14 motivated entrepreneurs from the Pakaunia region started the “Business Flight” program today.

“Starting a business is a trait of brave people. Not every person can take the initiative to create a workplace not only for themselves, but also for others. From the abundant participation in this project, it can be seen that there are really enough of those brave people in Kaunas district. It is said that the lonely learn from their mistakes, and the brave learn from strangers. During the project, I wish to boldly learn from other people’s mistakes” – Tomas Didziulis, deputy director of Kaunas district municipality administration, congratulated the businessmen gathered at the opening of the project.

In the 7-month project, you can expect: a mentorship program, expert consultations – refinement of the idea, choosing the right model, business consultations, individual business growth plans, the infrastructure of “Spiečius” collaboration centers developed throughout Lithuania for work and meetings. During the implementation of the program, businesses will be provided with all kinds of support from the organizers, the circle of acquaintances will be expanded, new connections will be made with project partners, useful information will be shared, etc.
