A. Pugačiova spoke about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall almost a week later. She posted a post on her Instagram account saying that she does not show her emotions in public.

“Grief should be felt in the soul, not on Instagram. Amen,” the singer wrote.

The famous woman who left the country as an aggressor did not react to the events in Moscow. However, her husband Maksim Galkin, who supports Ukraine in the war, expressed his condolences to the Russians.

“A terrible tragedy in Krakow. I am out of words. Deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. My thoughts are with the victims now. May God give you the strength to cope with this tragedy,” the humorist previously wrote.

Delphi reminds that Russian prosecutors recently applied to the Ministry of Justice with a request to recognize the queen of Soviet pop music Alla Pugacheva as a “foreign agent”, the state news agency RIA reported.

74-year-old A. Pugačiova, a Soviet and later post-Soviet stage star, criticized the war in Ukraine. In the fall of 2022, she announced that she was leaving Russia for Israel, and before that she asked the Russian authorities to recognize her as a “foreign agent”, thus showing solidarity with her husband Maksim Galkin, who also spoke out against the war and received the same status.

According to “Laisvės Radio”, commentators speculate that the status of “foreign agent” may be granted on the singer’s 75th birthday. Her birthday, April 12, this year falls on a Friday, the day of the week when the Ministry of Justice traditionally publishes new lists of “enemies of the people”.

A. Pugacheva is one of the most famous people in Russia – known from generation to generation for such hits as her 1982 song “A Million Red Roses” and the 1978 film “The Woman Who Sings”.

In the past, A. Pugachev was congratulated by both President Vladimir Putin and his predecessor Boris Yeltsin. When Mikhail Gorbachev died in 2022, she praised the last Soviet leader for allowing freedom and renouncing violence.
