The situation at the front. Luhansk direction
Cremation. Traditionally, heavy battles take place in the Ternai – Yampolivka section, Ukrainian defenders have maintained their positions and are counterattacking. The situation is changing.
Lysychansk. The Russians continue operations along the contact line, but continue to fail to advance.
Donetsk direction
Bachmut. Northern flank. From public sources, one can get the impression that the pace of the aggressor’s attack has dropped. Nevertheless, the situation in the Bohdanivka – Ivanivsk section remains difficult.
The occupiers are dangerously close to Chasiv Yar. Practice shows that after “feeling blood”, the aggressor tries with all his might to occupy the settlements, even despite the exhaustion of his units, the losses they suffer or the jammed supply lines.
In addition, the Russians have already proven that they are able to quickly mobilize low-quality, but abundant force reserves. Yesterday, experts wrote that in this section, the occupying units that were in reserve are already being thrown into battle, so it is possible that the battles will intensify again soon.
Southern flank. Battles continue in the Klishijivka – Andrijivka – Kurdiumivka section, the contact line remains unchanged.
Avdihivka – Vuhledar. Northern flank. The aggressor continues to intensively try to bypass the Ukrainian defense lines from the north through Berdychi, where his movement is not restricted by the Durna river.
Ukrainian forces maintained their positions. The Russians announce that they are storming the southern approaches of Semenivka, that is, they allegedly moved across the mentioned river, but it is difficult to say how much truth there is in that. The aggressor’s efforts to develop success near Tonenka and push westward are also recorded. The occupiers are most likely trying to break through to the bend of the Durna River towards Umanska. It is very likely that all these operations on the northern flank are a common idea of the aggressor to occupy the heights west of the Durna River, thus creating conditions for the further movement of his units towards Pokrovsk.
Southern flank. The Russians are entrenching themselves in the positions occupied in recent days in Novomychailivka and the northern approaches of this settlement. Heavy fighting also continues in the southern approaches of Krasnohorivka and Heorhijivka.
Zaporizhia direction
Battles continue in Robotyne, the pace of the aggressor’s attack has dropped here, Russians are predicting Ukrainian counterattacks on social networks. However, there are recorded attacks by the occupiers on the eastern flank of the wedge near Bilohiria.
This shows that the Russians are looking for places where they can create foci of tension for the defenders of Ukraine and take the initiative into their own hands, thus pushing the Ukrainian forces out of the wedge.
South direction
The aggressor attacked Odessa with drones. No changes in the contact line. Russian war propagandists declare that 90 percent their assaults near Krynkai were successful, and the Ukrainians are supposedly hiding in the basements.
If this were true, the occupiers would not be storming the Krynkai settlement for several months, but would already be somewhere near Lviv.
