Officers and volunteers searched for Agota R., a little girl who went missing in Kaunas on Sunday, for the second night in a row. Although the search is fruitless so far, there is no promise to give up.
“Intensive search operations took place throughout the night in search of Agota, who disappeared in Kaunas. We do not lose hope and continue our search. Thank you to the volunteers,” Kaunas Police announced on Facebook early Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement searchers and rescuers are also determined. “It’s scary to think what the girl and her parents feel… We must find her and return her home”, “We will go, we will continue to search”, “Saulut, you will only appear healthy, alive”, the social network reads.
So far, minor searches are fruitless. To the question of whether the 9-year-old girl has not been found yet, the officials, without losing hope, answered: “Not yet.”
We would like to remind you that the girl disappeared when she left her house in Kaunas, Trešniai take, at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, to the public transport stop and was getting ready to go to the store. She did not go to it.
An international search for the missing person was announced on Monday.
Although the police do not rule out any version, abduction is the most likely. Video cameras near the place where the child disappeared recorded a car approaching the stop where the girl was.
