Speaking to military pilots in the Tver region on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin assured them that Russia is not going to war with NATO. True, immediately denying his assurance, he stated that “it was not Russia that approached the borders of NATO countries, but they did, we are only protecting our people.”
Without taking a single step away from the Kremlin’s propaganda line, V. Putin stated that talk of a possible attack on Poland, the Baltic countries or the Czech Republic is “a way to deceive the residents of these countries.”
V. Putin also accused NATO of interfering “even in the countries of Asia and Latin America” and assured that “today’s conflict would not exist if the security interests of the Russian Federation were taken into account after the collapse of the USSR.” With the last phrase, Russia traditionally and falsely bases its invasion of Ukraine.

On the night of March 28, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 26 of the 28 strike drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.
This was reported on the Telegram channel by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is based on Ukrinform.
“On the night of March 28, 2024, the enemy launched a missile and air strike against Ukraine, using three Ch-22 cruise missiles and an anti-radar missile Ch-31P (from the Black Sea area), an anti-aircraft guided missile S-300 (Donetsk region) and 28 “Shahed -136/131” type strike drones (launch areas – Kursk Region (RF), Cape Chauda (Crimea)), the report reads.

Two women were injured during the night Russian attack in Zaporizhia, the debris of the “shaheeds” damaged houses in the private sector.
This was reported on the Telegram channel by the military administration of the Zaporizhia region, which is based on Ukrinform.
“During the nighttime attack of the Shaheds, two women were injured in Zaporizhia. Residential buildings in the private sector caught fire from enemy drone debris. Rescuers promptly extinguished the flames. The details of the attack are being refined. Russia, a terrorist country, continues its war against peaceful people,” the head of the military administration, Ivan Fyodorov, said in a statement.
As “Ukrinform” previously wrote, Zaporizhzhia was attacked by Russian drones on the night of Thursday, and the victims were reported.

07:00 | A 12-year-old boy was the victim of a Russian strike in Kharkiv region
A 12-year-old child became the victim of a Russian attack in Borova settlement of Kharkiv region.
This was reported on the Telegram channel by the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region, which is based on Ukrinform.
“According to the investigation, on March 27, around 9 p.m. 20 min., Russian military shelled Borova settlement of Izium district. A 12-year-old boy was killed,” the report reads.
Residential houses and a kindergarten were damaged in the settlement.
The type of weapon is being specified.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into a violation of the laws and customs of war related to intentional killing (Article 438, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on March 27 Russians hit Kupiansk with a FAB-500 aerial bomb, and they attacked the village of Dvorichna in Kupiansk district with a drone, one person was injured.
