Last week, the average price of fuel in Lithuania changed differently – gasoline went up by 1.4 percent, while diesel went down by 1.1 percent. The difference between the average prices of gasoline and diesel decreased from 0.07 EUR/l to 0.03 EUR/l during the week. Gasoline wholesale prices are already higher than diesel prices.
In the Eurozone countries, fuel prices increased during the past week: average prices of gasoline increased by 0.2 percent and diesel by 1 percent. Compared to the average fuel prices of the Eurozone countries, the average price of gasoline in Lithuania is 16.4 percent. lower, diesel – 9.4 percent. smaller.
On March 25, the average price of diesel in Lithuania was 1.549 EUR/l, the average price of gasoline was 1.515 EUR/l.
The average prices of gasoline in all compared Baltic countries and neighboring countries increased by 0.6-1.6 percent.
The average price of gasoline in Poland is 1.524 EUR/l and is about 0.009 EUR/l higher than in our country. Average gasoline prices in Estonia and Latvia are 1.713 EUR/l and 1.699 EUR/l, respectively.
Average diesel prices decreased in Estonia and Lithuania (0.6% and 1.1% respectively), increased in Latvia and Poland (0.3% and 1.5% respectively), while the average price in Germany did not change.
In Estonia and Latvia, the average diesel price is currently 1.583 EUR/l and 1.676 EUR/l, respectively, and in Poland – 1.573 EUR/l.
Average gasoline prices are currently only 0.3 percent in Lithuania. lower than 12 months ago. In other comparable countries, the average price of gasoline is 2.1-7.6 percent. bigger ones.
The average price of diesel is currently only 0.1 percent in Estonia. lower than a year ago. In other comparable countries, average diesel prices are 2.2-8.9 percent. bigger ones.
During the month of March (1-27), the wholesale price of gasoline in Lithuania increased by 0.07 EUR/l, while the price of diesel decreased by almost 0.11 EUR/l. Currently, the wholesale price of diesel is already lower than the price of gasoline by 0.05 EUR/l.
We remind you that in 2024 in February, fuel wholesale prices increased – gasoline became more expensive by 0.03 EUR/l, and diesel became cheaper by 0.01 EUR/l/. In January, the wholesale prices of gasoline increased by EUR 0.01/l, diesel – by EUR 0.12/l.
