Summer weather is coming soon: forecasters announce where it will be the warmest in Lithuania

“On Friday, the area of ​​higher atmospheric pressure will strengthen over Lithuania. There will be a lot of clearing in the sky and dense and low clouds will start to disperse, the sun will appear more often.

In some places, mainly in the northern regions of the country, there will be brief showers, the wind will blow from the south, southwest direction, and it will be 7-12 m/s.

The warmest day on Friday should be in the southern regions of the country.

The weather on Saturday night will continue to be determined by areas of higher atmospheric pressure, so we will not get rain, but frost may appear again, the forecaster said.

“There will be light southerly winds, and the temperature will not be high – it will cool down to 2-7 degrees Celsius, there is still a chance of frost.

It is the largest in the northern regions of the country. There in the air in some places, on the surface of the soil, frost will still reach 1-6 degrees of frost in many districts”, – Delphi said the weatherman.

The chance of rain will increase again on Saturday, she said. But the heat will only be greater.

“So somewhere, more likely – in the central, northern regions of the country, it may rain for a short time, mostly sparingly. The wind will remain in the south, southeast direction, moderate strength – 6-11 m/s. And after daylight, the temperature will be even higher and will warm up to 13-18 degrees Celsius.

The warmest day is expected again in the southern regions of Lithuania”, said I. Daunoravičiūtė.

Sunday’s weather will be determined by an anticyclone – rain is not expected both at night and during the day, and the sun’s rays will make you happy during the day.

“There will definitely be a lot of clearing in the sky. The south-west, south wind will continue to blow, it will be barely noticeable at night, and moderate again during the day – 6-11 m/s.

During the night, the temperature will remain positive everywhere – about 2-7 degrees Celsius. True, in the northern regions of the country, in some places on the surface of the soil, you can get weak frosts up to 0-3 degrees of frost.

And on Sunday, even more heat will flow from the south and will resemble summer weather in some places: it will warm up to 16-21 degrees Celsius”, – Delphi said forecaster I. Daunoravičiūtė.
