Raid in Vilnius: 7 migrants, 4 foreigners who worked illegally as couriers and an “lawless” who fled from the police were caught

According to preliminary data, the driver who passed the policeman did not stop even when the officers caught up with him in a police car.

The fugitive drove about a kilometer until he was finally caught in the yard of the apartment building.

It is said that the man driving the Honda did not have a driver’s license and had never obtained one.

During the joint raid, the border guards had a lot of work – even seven foreigners who did not have residence permits in Lithuania were caught.

The first person to make money was a Tajik citizen driving a Toyota, he was caught by the authorities on Dzūki Street.

At around 11:30 p.m., just after the start of the inspection on V. Kudirka Street, two Uzbeks were caught. Both foreigners stayed in Lithuania too long. Not long after, another of their compatriots was arrested for the same.

An Indian citizen also made a living on the same street, he was also without a residence permit in Lithuania.

A Kyrgyz and an Azerbaijani joined the captured migrants. All of them drove the same brand of car – Toyota Prius.

Illegally worked as couriers

During the raid, not a single person who used transportation services had to continue their journey either with another vehicle or on foot, because the officials caught foreigners working illegally.

The first person to earn money was an Azerbaijani citizen – a man driving a Toyota car turned out to be unable to work as a driver in Lithuania, because he received a residence permit in Slovakia, not Lithuania. The offender had to release his passenger on Dzūki Street.

V. Kudirka st. an Uzbek was caught, he was transporting people and making money using a foreign account. For the same reason, an Azerbaijani and a Sakartan were caught, all men were driving Toyota Prius cars.

Citizens were punished for these violations by employees of the Vilnius city municipality.

On V. Kudirka Street, several drunken drivers were also caught by the officers. A total of four “lawless” drivers were caught during the raid.
