Polish and allied warplanes were raised in Poland on Friday during a large-scale Russian missile attack in Ukraine, TVN24 news channel reported, citing information from the operational headquarters of the Polish Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced on the Telegram platform about the nightly Russian missile attacks, indicating that an air threat had been declared for the entire country.
Explosions are reported on social networks in various Ukrainian cities, including Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk.
“Tonight, intensive activity of Russian long-range aviation was observed in connection with missile strikes carried out against objects located on the territory of Ukraine,” the Polish operational command reported. “All necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been activated.”
