Fantastic Jalen Brunson leads Knicks to third straight win over 76ers

Jalen Brunson was unstoppable for New York. He scored 47 points (16/26 doubles, 2/8 triples, 9/11 penalties) in 43 minutes of play, grabbed 4 balls, made 10 assists, blocked a shot, but fouled twice and made 1 error. He had the best game of his career in the playoffs.

Joel Embiid had 27 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Brunson’s two-pointer with 56 seconds left extended the Knicks’ lead to six points, the largest margin of the final quarter.

The 76ers were still within one three-pointer, but Brunson’s free throws with 5 seconds left sealed the victory for New York.

The fifth match of the series will be played in New York. Interestingly, even though the Knicks were playing on the road, their fan base that came to Philadelphia dominated the chants over the 76ers fans.

Knicks fans were louder until the end of the game, and the MVP chant in the arena was dedicated to Mr. Brunson.

“Philadelphia fans are tireless and very passionate, but to see and hear the Knicks fans here was really cool and amazing,” Brunson said.
