On a sunny Sunday, Lithuanian citizens flooded the polling stations to vote in the presidential election and referendum. Activity – not seen since 1997, reaching more than 59 percent. On election night, candidates waited patiently for the first results in various places in Vilnius – from their party headquarters to restaurants. Now they are clear – President Gitanas Nausėda, who is seeking a second term, got into the second round, having collected a little more than 44 percent of the votes, and Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė with almost 20 percent.

On Sunday evening, we visited the headquarters of the three most popular candidates, when only the results of the first precincts became clear. The mood was different. So, in the show, we invite you to feel the mood that prevailed here when the first results appeared, and how it changed when the morning dawned.
