Over the weekend, the temperature will still be low at night, frosts are expected, but the days will be warm and sunny, Tada Kantautas, forecaster of the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, told LRT RADIO. And from Monday, summer heat will return to the country.
On Saturday night, the clouds will disperse, no significant rain is expected. The temperature will drop to 1-6 degrees Celsius, frost is expected in many places in the air and on the surface of the soil.
It will be cloudy during the day, it will rain briefly only in some places, more likely in the western and northern regions. The temperature will warm up to 13-18 degrees Celsius.
“It will be even warmer on Sunday. Clouds will be rare, the chance of rain will be low,” T. Kantautas notes.
At night, the temperature will drop to 2-7 degrees Celsius, only mild frosts are expected on the surface of the soil in some places. It will warm up to 17-22 degrees during the day.
It will be even warmer at the beginning of next week, the forecaster notes.
“Even at night, the temperature will not be so low anymore. It will be 5-10 on Monday night, and 7-12 on Tuesday night. And the days can already be said to be summer-like – on Monday – 19-24, and on Tuesday it should already be 20-25 degrees,” T. Kantautas points out.
