On Tuesday, the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) temporarily suspended business, marketing and acceptance of renewable energy resources for the general application due to support for the preparation of solar power plants and accumulators.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Energy approved the revised terms of project financing, according to which the terms of the call for applications published by LEA must also be revised, therefore the acceptance of applications has been suspended for 5 working days until May 2, the agency reported on Tuesday.
The revised terms of project financing now more clearly regulate the provision of investment support. It has been established that renewable energy communities and municipal energy communities can operate on the same principle as remote electric park developers, Agn Bagoiut, interim director of the LEA, was quoted as saying in the report.
According to her, the revised financing conditions will apply to applications submitted to the general public. The terms of financing for other companies and buyers do not change.
