According to PAGD, 2 hours. 22 min. it was reported that a fire broke out in an apartment building on Jonas Basanavičius Street. Upon arrival at the scene, the fourth floor was engulfed in smoke and flames were visible in the communal kitchen. A sofa, a cupboard, household appliances were on fire.
The corridor and rooms are ventilated with the help of a positive pressure fan. During the fire, the walls of the common kitchen got smoked, the household appliances, the gas meter overheated, and the window and window sill were burnt. The room is filled with water.
The water was removed from the room with the help of hand tools. The five evacuees later returned to their apartments. There was a smoke detector in the premises.
