On April 1, the “Rimi” shopping chain is changing the working hours of some of its physical stores. The changes will take effect in 8 stores of the chain, while others will continue to operate on a regular schedule. In Mažeikiai, Utena, Telšiai, Jonava, Biržai, Lentvary and Užubalaii village, customers will be able to shop during the working hours valid during the summer season, and the Rimi Domus Pro store in Vilnius, located on Ukmergės st. 308, will be open an hour shorter. According to Eglė Krasauskienė, head of Rimi’s public relations and corporate responsibility, these changes are carried out taking into account the changing trends of customer flows in the warmer season.

Summer season store opening hours are being returned

According to Eglė Krasauskienė, head of Rimi’s public relations and corporate responsibility, store working hours are adjusted according to constantly monitored shopping trends, which differ in the warmer season of the year from the winter period. There is a return to the time of the spring-summer season, because as the days are getting longer, buyers are more likely to shop later in the day.

“As summer approaches, we aim to continue to ensure the needs and wishes of our customers. In winter, it was customary to visit stores earlier, but we notice that as the days get longer, the flow of customers starts to grow in the late evening hours”, says E. Krasauskienė.

Most of the stores of the Rimi shopping chain will continue to work as usual, but taking into account seasonal changes, customers from smaller towns and the village of Užubalis will be able to shop according to the store opening hours valid before the autumn-winter season.

Rimi stores in Mazeikiai (Žemaitijos St. 38), Telšiai (Plungės St. 4-1) and Užubaliai village (Senasis Ukmergės St. 46A) will be open on weekdays and weekends from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Also, on weekdays in Utena (J. Basanavičiaus str. 52), Biržui (J. Janonis aixta 5) and Jonava (Vasario 16-osios str. 4) “Rimi” stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays – from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. In addition, in Lentvari (Lentvaris st. 61A) from April 1. it will be possible to shop on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Vilnius “Rimi Domus Pro” store will close its doors earlier

According to E. Krasauskienė, the company’s goal is to provide an opportunity for every Rimi customer to shop in the store without interruption: “It is important that everyone leaves in a good mood after shopping, so we take into account the trends in the shopping flows of each store.”

For this reason, the working hours of the “Rimi Domus Pro” store in Vilnius are adjusted individually: you can shop there from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, and on weekends – from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

“After making these changes, we will continue to monitor the market situation, and we will organize the working hours of our stores accordingly. Those who want to conveniently shop at any time, there is always the opportunity to use the services of the electronic store “Rimi.lt”, reminds the representative.
