The amendments to the rate of personal income tax propose to abandon other benefits that are currently in force: when collecting pension funds of the third tier of pensions and under investment life insurance contracts.
The latter benefits are valid for contracts signed until the end of the year, but not longer than 10 years.
I believe that investment and savings instruments must compete with the opportunities they provide, and not guarantee success due to the benefits applied by the state. Therefore, the investment account will provide an opportunity for financial instruments to receive equal terms, and the person can choose the most acceptable for him, said the minister.
if such a model is legal, the customer will be able to consider his account as an investment account, and as long as its profits are reinvested in his investment accounts, the profit earned there will not be taxed.
It will still be taxed if the profit is withdrawn for personal needs.
An investment account is a universal and simple way for people to invest financial products. It would be useful if the investments are not one-time, but continuous, says the Minister of Finance.
The increase was part of the Government’s tax package, but if there was no agreement on it, according to G. Skaist, it is possible to agree on that part.
