Which cars are better not to buy: a list of problematic signs is named

--

Buying a used car always involves some risk. Choosing a truly reliable and trouble-free car can be a real feat.

Experts have offered drivers some important signs to help them weed out potentially bad purchases. 7 brands are blacklisted:

  1. Body Corrosion: This problem will be a real headache for you. It is better to refuse further purchase immediately.
  2. Unreliable parts: Wear or damage to individual parts can indicate serious problems with the car and negligence on the part of the car owners.
  3. Car submerged in water: This is another problem that will take a very long time and cost a lot of money to solve.
  4. Rare or discontinued model: It will be difficult to find spare parts for such a car, and even more difficult to find a mechanic willing to repair it.
  5. A car of a little-known brand that does not have a representative in the country: the same problem as in the case of a rare model. Maintenance and repair of such a car will be real hell for you.
  6. Used as a taxi or company car: These cars tend to have a lot of wear and tear and the driver hasn’t treated them like their own, so you shouldn’t expect a lot of care.
  7. Questionable documents and VIN numbers: This is a warning sign. You can easily end up with a stolen or impounded car. During the first inspection at the police or service station, this fact will become clear and the car will be taken from you, and the money for the purchase will most likely not be returned.
