“Zenoteca” wine shops operated in Vilnius – on Užupios and A. Vienuolis streets.
In them, Vilnius residents were offered to buy Italian wine, olive oil and Italian snacks. Wine tastings were held here, during which wine from Italian regions was presented.
However, a few days ago it was announced that the Zenoteca wineries belonging to A. Zuok’s business “BNA Ergo” are closing.
“Unfortunately, after 15 years of travel, we are closing. This week is our last – come and say goodbye to “Zenoteca” Vienuolio str. 14″, – it was announced a few days ago on the Facebook page of the stores’ social network.
A. Zuokas 15 minutes explained that the decision to sell the business was due to a change in priorities.
“I was away from active political activity for several years. Colleagues again elected him as the chairman of the “Freedom and Justice” party. It takes a really long time to lead a political organization. At this stage of my life, I have decided to return to active politics, so I do not have the opportunity to devote as much time to business as it needs. We found an excellent partner – “Vynoteka”, which is significantly larger, and we sold the business”, commented the former mayor of the capital.
According to him, the mentioned two wineries will remain as points of sale of wine and drinks – only under a different name.
“Our fans will be able to find some of the range that we have, which they will choose for themselves, with them.” Win win situation”, said A. Zuokas.
He also added that some of the employees who worked in his wineries will continue to work after the merger with Vynoteka.
Vynoteka is managed by UAB Gelsva.
