The news agency “Elta” reported on Thursday that the party leader intends to offer such an option to his colleagues.

“One of the options”

A. Mazuronis 15 minutes confirmed that there is an option to withdraw from the EP elections, but it is one of several possible options.

“One of the possible options is this. We will discuss”, said the Chairman of the Labor Party.

According to him, there are other possible options – to change the leaders of the list, to participate without changing anything, but by changing the chairman of the party.

“Not to participate at all, to participate by changing the leaders of the list, to participate without changing anything in the list, but by changing the chairman of the party. I would say three main options”, said A. Mazuronis.

The Council of the Labor Party will decide on what to do at a meeting that will begin at 6 p.m.

15 minutes reminds that on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Labor Party, law enforcement officers performed procedural actions in an investigation controlled by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.

According to A.Mazuronis, this investigation is related to the activities of the former party leadership in the European Parliament, and neither the party nor he himself figures in the investigation.

The Labor Party is represented there by one MP – party founder Viktoras Uspaskich.
