On Tuesday, the police are expanding the nine-year search area in Kaunas, and the Public Security Service (VST) is joining the search for the missing Agota.

“The area is inspected even more widely, the radius is constantly expanded, if one area is inspected, it is moved further from that place. All possible versions are being investigated,” Police Department representative Ramūnas Matonis told BNS on Tuesday morning.

Kaunas County Police representative Odeta Vaitkevičienė, for her part, said that over 100-200 residents who wanted to join the search for the girl attended every briefing on Monday.

“Volunteers are not decreasing,” said the police representative.

There are forested areas and water bodies further from the place where the child disappeared.

As the police announced, the search for the missing child in Kaunas during the night from Monday to Tuesday was not successful.

“Intensive search operations took place throughout the night in search of Agota, who disappeared in Kaunas. We do not lose hope and continue the search,” the police said on Tuesday morning.

The girl, born in 2014, went missing when on Sunday around 4:30 p.m. from his house in Kaunas, on Trešnii track, he went to the public transport stop and was getting ready to go to the store. She did not go to it.

The police announced on Monday that law enforcement has announced an international search for the missing girl, county commissariats throughout Lithuania have been informed about the girl, but they are physically looking for her in the city and district of Kaunas.

There is no shortage of volunteers.

Officials are urging residents who were driving between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Chemistry, Technology, Industry or Friendship streets, and cars have video recorders to share available material, even if it doesn’t seem trivial.

The girl’s disappearance is under investigation.

According to the representative of the Police Department, R. Matonis, about 2 thousand are recorded in Lithuania every year. cases of missing children, the majority of children are found within the first three days.

“Either they return on their own or when they are found, they run away from home, family relationships, divorce. Some children run several times,” R. Matonis told BNS.

Up to 1 percent disaster happens to the missing – they get lost, drown.
