The company’s new board will be approved at a general meeting of shareholders on Tuesday, Litgrid said.

Tim Meyerjurgens and Pierri-Henri D’haene are proposed to be elected as independent council members for a new four-year term.

Mindaugas Keizeris, head of Epso-G, Tomas Varneckas, head of infrastructure and project management of Epso-G Group, and Gediminas Karalias, advisor of the Energy Security Group of the Ministry of Energy, are proposed to be re-elected to the board of Litgrid.

T. Meyerjurgens previously held the position of CEO of TenneT, a German and Dutch electricity transmission system operator, Pierri-Henri D’haene was head of strategy, transformation and sustainability at Elia, a Belgian electricity transmission system operator.

The board of “Litgrid”, which consists of five members elected for a four-year term, is currently headed by T. Varneckas, M. Keizeris, G. Karalius, Domas Sidaravičius and Andrius Šemeškevičius work in it.

The board of this term started its work in April 2020.

97.5 percent Litgrid shares are owned by energy group Epso-G, whose shareholder is the Ministry of Energy.
