Modernizing Žirmūnų st. 151 buildings are expected to be substantially reorganized, rationally planned and equipped with modern facilities.

According to the bank, it is intended to reorganize the premises required for handling cash, increase the number of workplaces, update the building infrastructure, clean up the environment, modernize the engineering and safety systems, and increase the energy efficiency of the buildings.

On the central public procurement portal (CVPP), LB announced the public procurement of building design and project execution supervision services. Applications are expected until May 20.

Design proposals for the buildings are planned to be prepared by the end of 2024. The bank does not announce the price of the project at the moment. According to the bank’s announcement, the preliminary investment amount would be calculated by the designer who won the public procurement.

In the near future, LB also plans to announce the capital’s Gediminas Ave. public procurement of the feasibility study of the building complex located at 6. The results are planned to be obtained in the first quarter of 2025, they would provide a basis for further decisions regarding the modernization of this complex.

LB took the decision to modernize the buildings in Vilnius after the public procurement of the reconstruction works of the bank buildings in Žirmūnai was terminated in 2023. It was discontinued after the contractors at the time offered more than twice the construction price than was estimated.

It was previously announced that the contractors offered more than 100 million. EUR price, when the budget provided by LB was 50 million. euros.
