According to preliminary data, the turnover of retail trade companies (without value added tax (VAT)) in 2024 in February amounted to 1 billion 394 million euros at the prices of that time and compared to 2024 in January, after excluding the influence of the season and the number of working days, it increased by 0.7 percent at comparable prices.

During the month, after removing the influence of the season and the number of working days, the turnover of companies selling food products increased by 1 percent at comparable prices, those selling non-food products increased by 2.1 percent, and the turnover of companies selling car fuel retail decreased by 2.8 percent.

Turnover of catering and beverage companies (without VAT) in 2024 in February amounted to 107.6 million euros at the prices of that time and compared to 2024 in January, after removing the influence of the season and the number of working days, it decreased by 0.6 percent at comparable prices.
