The new Mercedes-Benz EQV and V-Class cars – Premium comfort for travelers

Mercedes-Benz minibuses have long been leaders in comfort and fashion dictators of cars for luxury hotels, successful companies and wealthy families. The new generation of EQV ​​and Class V minibuses raised the bar even higher. Business class travel on the road becomes even more impressive, safer and more personalized.

Last year, Mercedes-Benz announced plans to implement its latest premium strategy for commercial vehicles. The new EQV and Class V monocoques are an important milestone in this commitment to customers. A new design, increased comfort and safety, an extended list of standard and optional equipment should help everyone find the right option for them.

Design

Customers for Mercedes-Benz’s EQV and V-Class large MPVs range from families with active lifestyles and leisure enthusiasts to VIPs and businessmen, and the company offers a wide range of attractive equipment lines. Although all models feature exceptional interior space, high comfort level and high-quality and unique design, those who want to stand out will be able to choose not only between 3 fixed equipment levels (EQV can choose from the two most abundant levels), but also to order additional design packages. The sporty AMG Line and Ambient Night Package are optional for the V-Class, while the EQV offers design packages for both the exterior and interior. For those with special needs, there is an opportunity to complete and completely individual solutions.

The new car design is characterized by an impressive radiator grill of various shapes, surrounded by a strip of LED light-emitting diodes. Adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights with an elegant design can add a stylish accent to all models. The chrome trim strip at the rear of the car and the newly designed LED lights with a darkened outline ensure Mercedes-Benz recognition even from the rear. The updated look is completed by new 17-, 18- and 19-inch aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels and four new colors.

The interior design is also surprising with an updated look. A newly designed instrument panel with two 12.3-inch widescreen displays and a new generation steering wheel are perhaps the most important highlights of this digital design. You will also find wireless phone charging, keyless engine start, heated steering wheel and dimmed, night interior lighting in the standard or optional equipment of the large minivans. Ambient lighting in 64 colors helps to create an even more individual and cozy atmosphere. For more convenient access to the car interior, sliding doors are installed on both sides of the unit.

MBUX information and entertainmentuh system

The latest generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system is standard in the new minivans, providing a unique digital and interactive experience. With the improved MBUX V-Class and EQV drivers can enjoy Energizing comfort control, augmented reality navigation, updated parking modes and other new features.

Entertainment, comfort and car management functions can be controlled via the central display, touch control panels on the steering wheel, the touch pad in the center console or through dialogue with the updated assistant voice assistant “Hey Mercedes”.

Interesting and additional digital capabilities of MBUX. There is maintenance, emergency and breakdown management, remote control of doors and windows, and the Mercedes me Charge service for EQV cars gives customers access to one of the largest public charging networks in Europe, with more than 620,000 charging points, including European fast charging network IONITY.

Driver assistance

Various safety and driver assistance features have been updated. Active Brake Assist now includes a cross traffic function, which can warn the driver of oncoming or oncoming vehicles and dangerous cornering maneuvers, as well as intervene in emergency braking and assist when turning. Standard equipment for EQV and V-Class models is extremely rich: Attention Assist System, Headlight Assist System, Rain Sensor, Active Distance Support System, Active Brake Assist System with Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection System, Active Lane Keeping System , intelligent cruise control and a parking package with a 360-degree camera. A Trailer Maneuvering Assist System is also available in combination with a trailer hitch and a specially tuned automatic gearbox. Drivers will definitely appreciate these safe driving assistants actively helping them avoid stressful situations.

For the first time in this class, adaptive Multibeam LED headlights with auxiliary high beam system are also offered. They have 84 individually controlled LEDs, so the headlights adapt extremely quickly and accurately to the current traffic situation. The headlights continuously accurately illuminate the road ahead without dazzling other road users.

Technology

Customers of the all-electric EQV model can choose between two battery sizes (90 and 60 kWh) with a maximum output of 150 kW (204 hp). The electric EQV has a WLTP range of up to 277-365 km. Charging time from 10 to 80 percent at a fast charging station. takes about 40 minutes.

Class V cars are available with an efficient and proven diesel engine, which can be 120 kW (163 hp), 140 kW (190 hp), or 174 kW (237 hp). This year, the new 170 kW (231 hp) gasoline engine will appear, acting as a mild hybrid that saves operating costs. Internal combustion engine variants are rear-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is optional on diesel models. Electric models are front-wheel drive.

The most important technology of the future is the upcoming innovative “electric-only” vehicle architecture VAN.EA, which will be introduced from 2026. In the future, all new mid-size and large single-engines will be based on this architecture.

The base price for the new V-Class model starts at €59,470.25, while the new EQV starts at €75,281.78 (recommended retail price in Germany with 19% VAT).
