“It all started with a very serious and detailed security briefing. Then time is given to get ready – to dress up in stage clothes. Then we travel to the sound check room, the sound rehearsal takes place even before the big stage. The performer and the backing vocalist are singing, the dancers are listening to see if the music is playing in their ears or everything is working, and then we go to the stage, and there is already a television.
After the performance, the performers listen to comments, they have the opportunity to correct certain things on the spot, others are left to correct later.
We then make our way to the screening room and a detailed discussion of the show is already underway. The directors of sound, visuals have the opportunity to say all the comments. We are reviewing the entire filmed performance in detail and we hope that everything will be fixed for the second rehearsal,” S. Giržadas said on the show.
He also mentioned that Sylvester had a lot of filming after the rehearsal, which is why the team spent 6 hours in the arena.
The second rehearsal is scheduled for May 1.
“We’ll have a second rehearsal on May 1st and we’ll do the exact same sequence. During it, we look at what the artist changed, what he corrected, how much he took into account the comments,” he continued.
On Saturday, in addition to Silvestre, 6 other countries tested the big stage, among them representatives of Cyprus, Serbia, Ireland, Ukraine, Poland and Croatia.
Silvester Belt, interviewed at the Vilnius airport on April 25, talked about the changes in his performance.
“We increased everything. Now we can still use the floor. You will see very beautiful views. We also changed the clothes, but minimally so as not to change the performance. The mood remained, the darkness, only everything is better and stronger,” Silvester then taught.
During the first rehearsal, Sylvester appeared with a new image. The dancers’ outfits have also changed since the auditions. Their faces are covered by masks during the performance.
We remind you that the first “Eurovision” semi-final, in which Silvester Belt will appear as number three, will take place on May 7. The second semi-final is on May 9. The final is on May 11.
