The news about the painful incident was shared on the Facebook account of the “Senas kiemas” group. R. Gaudiešius’ friends added not only the circumstances of the accident, but also a request.

“Misfortunes choose neither place nor time…

The house of the musician Ramūnas Gaudiešius of the group “Senas kiemas” burned down with a music studio and instruments. Account number for those who can contribute and support: LT 07 7300 0100 3646 9117 RAMŪNAS GAUDIĆŠIUS Purpose of payment: Support for victims of fire

We sincerely thank you”, the members of the group addressed their followers.

Because of the painful situation Delphi appealed to R. Gaudiešiaus himself, who assured that the entire second floor of the house burned down during the fire.

“I’m running around, where are the wires, what to disconnect, because everything has burned. I have everything on the first floor, and I had a music studio on the second floor. When the fire broke out, my entire second floor was swept away. We rehearsed there, gathered to play in the evenings. That whole place burned down,” he said.

R. Gaudiešius assured that he did not know what could have caused the fire. However, the firefighters who put out the flames told him that an overheated chimney could have contributed to it.

“Actually, I don’t even know. It is clear that all suspicion is on shoulder. The firemen said that it seems that the chimney overheated, but the chimney is not the oldest, it is made of tin and you can see that it is not cracked. Of course, he was burned after the fire, but I really can’t claim that it’s because of him”, – speaking with Delphi said the musician.

When asked how he feels now and whether no one was hurt during the incident, the man said that his brother’s son was taken to the hospital because of the fire.

“He rushed to put out the fire and suffocated. then took out built drip and then released,” he said.

However, the man reassured that he is slowly getting back on his feet and trying to move on: “You have to do something, act, because you can’t sit still and live all the time.”
