HMD recently announced the Boring phone in collaboration with Heineken and Bodega. Now HMD is going to introduce a new smartphone, about which not much is already known.
The company is preparing to release a new “HMD Pulse” series, which will consist of “Pulse” and “Pulse Pro” models. These devices are also planned to be launched in India. But now we have more information on the Pulse Pro thanks to Finnish retailer Gigatti. Looking at the listing, the HMD Pulse Pro will feature a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that features HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood is a UNISOC T606 SoC processor that is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It can be expanded up to 256 GB using the microSD card slot. This device is powered by a large 5000 mAh battery via a USB Type-C port. There is a 50-megapixel main and 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and IP52 rating. HMD Pulse Pro will cost 179 euros. The seller indicated a release date of 2024. April 24
