The number of victims of the March 22 terrorist attack in the Moscow region is still not well known. This is because human bodies are still being pulled from the ruined Crocus City Hall building.

Firefighters arrived at the scene relatively quickly, but had to wait for law enforcement to remove the terrorist threat. Locals say that it is only 8 minutes from Crocus City Hall to the OMON unit, but OMON is more often engaged in beating ordinary Russians, so special forces were expected, which appeared only an hour later. Perhaps the terrorists started a fire in a very strategic, well thought out location and it spread. Or maybe Crocus City Hall didn’t have the proper fire protection systems. Or maybe they were turned off.
