In the WTA 1000 series “Miami Open” women’s tennis tournament held in Miami (USA) on Thursday, a Ukrainian player in an impressive match Anhelina Kalinina (WTA-36) in 3 hours 15 minutes 5:7, 7:5, 6:4 beat the former world No. 1 racket Caroline Wozniacki (WTA-129). These tennis players played against each other for the first time.
A. Kalinina took a short lead in the first set, but in the next game she blew the lead. Later, the Ukrainian neutralized several “break points”, but was unable to save herself in the twelfth game.
