April 2-7 “Ryto” youth will compete in the FIBA ​​Champions League tournament. Vilnius presented the twelve players, which consists of 4 players from “7bet-NKL”, 5 – from the RKL A division, 2 – from the RKL B division and one who competes only in the Student Basketball League.

Vilnius “Rytas” announced the youth squad that will compete in the FIBA ​​Champions League youth tournament.

It consists of: Gantas Križanauskas, Džiugas Remeikis, Ignas Urbonas, Gabrielius Jokubauskas, Matas Deniušas, Pijus Latauskas, Mantas Liutkevičius, Paulius Narvilas, Adams Pocius, Erikas Sirgedas, Grantas Strelčiūnas and Jokūbas Kukta.

Remeikis, Urbonas, Jokubauskas and Križanauskas played in “7bet-NKL” this season, where they wore the “Ryto-2” shirt. Križanauskas is also registered for LKL fights. Deniušas, Latauskas, Pocius and Sirgėdas compete in RKL A division, where they defend the honor of “Ryto-MRU”.

Three-pointers are being shot this season

Liutkevičius and Strelčiūnas compete in RKL B division, where they represent the Vilnius Basketball School team. 14-year-old Kukta plays only in the School Basketball League, while Narvilas played in the RKL A division for the LCC International University team.

The draw determined that the youth of the Lithuanian capital will face Lenovo from Tenerife, Promitheas from Patras and the youth from Debrecen, the hosts of the tournament, in Group A.

Last season, Rytas took third place in the ČL youth tournament, which was held for the first time in history, after defeating Hapoel from Jerusalem in the minor final. “Igokea” from Aleksandrovac won the first place, and “Tofaš” from Bursa took silver.

The tournament will take place on April 2-7 in Debrecen (Hungary).
