At the end of the week, we will get some not very pleasant weather changes. The cyclone coming to Lithuania will bring rain, and on Sunday also drizzle, forecaster Elvyra Latvėnaitė reports.

“A powerful cyclone named Kilia is strengthening over the Norwegian and North Seas. In its eastern part, in the frontal cloud system above Scandinavia, a small cyclone Kilia II turned around, it will continue to shower Lithuania with good rain quite calmly. On Saturday, another cyclone from the south, southwest, with a wavy atmospheric front will cross Lithuania and rain again. On Sunday, after making a “lap of honor” around southern Norway, Cyclone Kilia-vyresniji will reach the Baltic States. The truth is already weakened and weakened. But it will rain again. There will be a real “parade” of cyclones. Rain and overcast skies will “steal” the heat trying to rise from the south, it will be gloomy and cool. From Sunday and at the very beginning of next week, even cooler weather will come from the north, with rain we will also get drizzle, a slight cold snap at night will “satisfy” the bare ice. It should warm up significantly from the middle of the week, it will be drier. The weather models do not yet “agree” about next weekend – whether to cool down or still warm. We’ll see, we’ll find out if March will be a warm goodbye,” writes forecaster Elvyra Latvėnaitė.

On the night of Friday, March 22, it will rain, heavier at the beginning of the night, one more wet snowflake may fall in the northwest, a little rain at the beginning of the day, in the evening again, starting from the western districts, we will get more rain. Mists and fogs will travel with the rain. Wind south, southeast 5-10 m/s at night, southwest 7-12 m/s in the morning and day, gusts 15 m/s on the coast. At night plus 1-5°C, the coolest in the northwest, during the day plus 6-9°C, again the coolest in the western suburbs and on the coast.

On the night of Saturday, March 23, it will rain heavily again, with one more wet snowfall, it will be foggy again, and in the morning the western districts will be covered with fog, it will rain intermittently during the day, more heavily in the second half of the day. Wind west, southwest at the beginning of the night 7-12 m/s, later 5-10 m/s. Plus 1-6°C at night, plus 7-10°C during the day.

On Sunday, March 24, there will be heavy precipitation overnight, mainly rain, with intermittent showers during the day, but again with another wet sleet. Wind west, southwest at night 5-10 m/s, during the day 7-12 m/s. 0 plus 5°C at night, the coolest in the western districts, plus 5-8°C during the day.

Monday, March 25 intermittent light precipitation, mostly rain during the day. Barefoot at night. The wind is unstable 4-8 m/s. Minus 2 plus 2°C at night, plus 6-10°C during the day, the coolest at the seaside.

Tuesday, March 26 without significant precipitation. At night, the fog will stretch, bare. The wind is unstable 4-8 m/s. Minus 1-4°C at night, plus 6-10°C during the day.

Wednesday, March 27 without precipitation. Wind south, southeast at night 4-8 m/s, during the day 6-11 m/s. 0 plus 3°C at night, plus 10-13°C during the day.

Thursday, March 28 without precipitation. Wind south, southeast 6-11 m/s. Plus 2-7°C at night, plus 11-16°C during the day.

On the night of Friday, March 29, there is still no rain, it should already rain during the day, there may even be thunderstorms. Plus 3-8°C at night, plus 14-18°C during the day, plus 8-13°C in the western, northwestern outskirts.
