At the end of April, the municipal council of the city of Alytus adopted a decision regarding the reduction of the municipal infrastructure development contribution rates and differentiation coefficients.
The approved decision of the council promotes the construction of one- and two-family buildings in three development areas, 60 percent. reducing the municipal infrastructure development contribution. It is in these territories that one or another infrastructure has already been developed and it is desired that all the necessary infrastructure be installed in these quarters during construction.
With the aforementioned legal act, infrastructure development contributions were reduced in three city territories – the second, third and fifth development zones. In the second zone, it will pay 12 EUR (previously 30 EUR), in the third – 20 EUR (previously 50 EUR), and in the fifth – 16 EUR (previously 40 EUR) per square meter of the total area of one- and two-family buildings.
So if you are planning about 200 sq. m for the construction of an individual house, the infrastructure development fee for a one-family or two-family building in the second zone would be EUR 2,400, in the fifth – EUR 3,200, and in the third – EUR 4,000.
According to the Municipal Infrastructure Development Law, municipalities should regulate the construction of buildings with different purposes in different development areas. What is suitable for one municipality may not be suitable for another, so each municipality has to balance the infrastructure development that is suitable for them.
