After the evaluation of the task of the intermediate examination of informatics and the conclusions presented by the special commission assembled by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, the evaluation instruction was revised.

According to the revised assessment instructions, the confirmed results show that almost a third, i.e. 1,656 (32%) of the students who took part in the intermediate examination of informatics scored 35 or more points, so next year they will come to the matriculation exam of this subject with the minimum number of points required to pass the exam. A total of 5,175 students of the third grade of high school participated in the inspection. The total average score of the candidates is 32 out of 40 possible.

Students can find out the final evaluation of their computer science midterm examination at the schools, which will be provided with the reports with the approved results.

Tasks of completed intermediate inspections can be viewed by the NŠA in the information testing system BETAand the evaluation instructions are published on the NŠA website. In the system of achievement checks students can review their completed assignments. The results of a specific interim check are visible when logged in with the logins that were used to run the task.

16,758 11th graders took part in the midterm examination of the Lithuanian language and literature advanced course (A). According to preliminary data, 77.1 percent during this inspection, the participants scored half and more (10-19 points) of the possible points. The maximum number of points was scored by 2288 students, ie 13.7 percent. The average score of the mid-term examination of the Lithuanian language and literature advanced course (A) is 15.1 out of 20 possible.

Meanwhile, the preliminary results of the intermediate examination of the general (B) course show that the average score of eleventh graders is 10.8 out of a possible 20. 7276 students participated in this examination. Half and more (10-19 points) possible points were scored by 45.2 percent. students. 132 students were evaluated with the maximum number of points, ie 1.8 percent. mid-term examination of all those who took the Lithuanian language and literature general course (B).

Almost 2,000 pedagogues of the country evaluated the works of the candidates for the interim examination of Lithuanian language and literature, who had to check more than 24,000. achievements of high school students.

“According to the usual practice of evaluating state matriculation exams, the evaluations of part of the mid-term examinations are reviewed according to certain criteria. This is one of the important assessment quality assurance procedures, which is quite time-consuming, but very important in terms of the objectivity of the assessment,” says Aidas Aldakauskas, director of the National Education Agency.

The final results of the interim examinations of the Lithuanian language and literature general and advanced courses are expected to be approved and published in the second half of May.
