When the politician’s closest friends learned about G. Kirkilo’s death, they did not hide their shock and surprise, because he never complained about his health, he was playing outdoor tennis a few days before his death, and on the eve of his death, he attended a conference in the Seimas.
Former politician and MEP Justas Vincas Paleckis, who had a lot of contact with G. Kirkilus, testified that there were not the slightest signs that the ex-prime minister was sick or unwell.
