During the preparation of the opening celebration of the motorcyclists’ season in the Vilnius region, traffic will be restricted in the capital on Saturday, parking of vehicles will be prohibited from Friday evening, the Vilnius Municipality announced.

According to her, on Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., traffic is prohibited in the section of Upės Street from Kalvarijės to Studentų Street, ensuring the possibility for service transport and visitors to approach the shopping center on Upės Street 9.

As the motorcade moves through the city, from 16:00 to 18:00. traffic may be restricted in one of the lanes on the Green Bridge, as well as in A. Goštautas, Geležinis Vilkos, Oslo, Ateitis, Kalvarijões, Kareivės, O. Milašius, Lizdeikas, Antakalnis, T. Kosciuškas, Arsenalos and Žygimantų streets, Laisvės avenue.

From 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, a procession will take place in the Old Town, during which traffic may be stopped for a short time in the section of Gediminas Avenue from Independence to Cathedral Square, Šventaragi, University, St. Jono, Pilies, Didižioja and Aušras Varta streets.

The municipality warns that until Saturday 10 p.m. parking of vehicles will also be prohibited in the previously mentioned section of Upės Street.
