In some shopping centers, the service makes you wish for a change. It is said that some store employees do not communicate very understandingly with customers. A Klaipėda resident who visited a shopping center was surprised by the saleswoman’s behavior. When the girl asked to weigh 700 grams of meat, the seller told her that she did not have to do it.

On Sunday afternoon, a Klaipėda woman living on Taikas Avenue decided to go shopping in a store near her home. As usual, when she came to buy minced meat, she encountered an unusual situation.

“That woman told me that she doesn’t have to do that, the seller simply said that she can’t predict how much one or another product will weigh and how much should be cut.” She even told me to do it herself,” said the buyer.

Darius Ryliškis, the press representative of the Norfos mažmena company, said that store employees have duties that they must perform.

“The seller must weigh or cut as much of the product as the buyer requests, if the employee really did so, of course, such an act is incorrect,” said D. Ryliškis.

Residents of the port city also notice that in the evenings in some shops, regular cash registers are not open, only self-services are available, which are not always convenient, especially for the elderly.

As the press representative of Norfos stated, not only self-service cash registers, but also at least one regular one must be in operation at all times.

“Cash registers work according to the needs of customers. There is always a self-service and at least one regular cash register. If the regular cash registers are not working at any time for any reason, the buyer can always ask the cashier to serve him”, said D. Ryliškis.
