According to the data and calculations of the Ministry of Transport, a charging infrastructure of 1.3 kW must be installed for one electric car. Calculating according to this principle, there are enough charging stations in Lithuania. However, based on the registration system of public electric vehicle charging accesses ev.lakd.lt according to the data, the distribution of charging points in Lithuania seems to be very uneven.

There are more than 200 places where you can charge an electric car in Vilnius and its surroundings, about 200 in Kaunas and its surroundings, about 90 in Klaipėda and the district. 30 in Panevėžys, 18 in Taurage, about 17 in Šiauliai, 15 in Druskininkai.

According to data from various platforms, there are 7 charging points in Alytus, 4 in Marijampolė, 3 in Molėtai, and 2 in Varėna.

Now, public charging stations are usually installed near large shopping centers or business centers, but very few such charging points are located near parking lots operated by small businesses. However, other places in the regions – roads or other attractions – are greatly missed. Those places are run by small or medium businesses and they are quite passive in this race.
