In recent days, it has become known that RC employees were complicit with criminals who, after falsifying documents, took over a foreign real estate development company and emptied its account.

Having established this in the final ruling, the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania decided that the state and the criminals will be jointly and severally obliged to compensate the businessman who suffered financial losses.

“Since the Registry Center was one of those companies whose audit we sought, it can be assumed that those who manage it blocked the way knowing about the not entirely transparent activities of the RC employees or fearing that more dirty jobs will appear on the square, – the chairman of the Lithuanian Party of Regions J thought aloud Pinskus. – Only one story reached the public, and how many could there be both in RC and in other state enterprises that were not allowed to be audited?”

The politician had more doubts about the transparency of the activities of these companies.

“Lithuanian Railways lays off ordinary employees, but their managers receive enormous salaries.

ESO, which belongs to “Ignitis Group”, “settled” with people’s money, but returns the overpayments very reluctantly. RC, as it turned out, is friends with criminals, for which we will all have to pay, but the Government does not mind this, – the member of the Seimas named the unpleasant truth. – Instead, the government is in a hurry to impose new taxes on people, because there is a lack of money for national defense. Or would they appear after a detailed audit of all three mentioned companies and an assessment of how they use financial and economic resources? Maybe they don’t really need as much wealth as they currently manage, and the executive salaries could be lower? In addition, the conducted audit would show the public that the government is in solidarity with it, cares about people’s well-being and strives for state-owned enterprises, which the conservatives talked about a lot before the election, to operate transparently and follow high moral standards. A single audit would provide answers to many questions, but judging by the overall situation, one gets the impression that those in power are afraid of this kind of publicity.”
