Tautvilė Merkevičiūtė, assistant to the chairman of the Kaunas district court for media and public relations, confirmed to the news portal lrytas.ltthat the first meeting should take place on April 11.

In the last case, A. Ulvid is accused of molesting three girls under the age of 16 – molestation by the prosecutor’s office, the crimes against them were committed in January 2023.

A total of four criminal cases have been brought against A. Ulvid for the molestation of minors: three of them are being examined in court, one of them has not yet been investigated by the law enforcement.

The total number of victims in the cases reaches several dozen.

The man from Kaunas is known to law enforcement for his love of dancing naked for minors in remote areas of the Kaunas region.

The crimes accused of A. Ulvids were repeated for a long time, until he fled abroad in May 2023 during one of the court proceedings.

In August, he was arrested in Denmark and handed over to Lithuanian law enforcement. The former fugitive is currently under arrest.

A. Ulvdas came to the attention of law enforcement for the first time in 2015 – after one case was filed, others started pouring in later.

In April 2019, a man from Kaunas was convicted of molesting 24 girls, but the girls escaped that time – he was given a one-year prison sentence, although the prosecutor’s office requested that he be imprisoned for five and a half years.

A. Ulvidas constantly ignored court orders not to communicate with girls under the age of 16.

The last case was recorded in February 2023 at the gas station “Circle K” on Pramonės prospect – a man from Kaunas arrived there with a 15-year-old girl who was sitting in his Ford car.

Despite not complying with the conditions of the pretrial measures, the molester kept avoiding arrest, allegedly because there was no sufficient reason for this.

However, after he fled abroad, such a basis appeared, because there was a real threat that he could continue to flee and hide from the responsible institutions in the future.

Imprisonment of up to 5 years is provided for molestation of minors.
