The Mulliner division changed Bentley’s plans: buyers increasingly want unique cars

Changed even Bentley’s plans

In many cases, the owner’s taste can be reflected in quite subtle things such as embroidery, exterior shade or leather color combinations. However, sometimes owners’ needs are so unique that they even adjust Bentley’s production plans. This is perfectly reflected in the bright Bentayga EWB Azure model recently presented to owners, the design of which was developed together with them by the Mulliner division.

As usual, Bentayga EWB buyers have enough exterior and interior design options to build a budget of as much as $46 billion. different options. But that wasn’t enough for a couple based in California, USA, and decided to team up with Mulliner to design their Bentayga EWB Azure.

The first creative challenge started with the fact that the new owners wanted a two-tone body. In fact, Bentley was just about to offer such an option for the new Bentayga EWB model, but the technical and practical solutions have not yet been fully implemented. After learning about the design of the car, they brought this option forward by 12 months and today any Bentayga EWB buyer can own a model with a dual exterior color.

Dramatic color balance

From this moment on, the imagination of the heroes of the text could run completely free, which is why they chose the eclectic blue color of the Kingfisher. It was then matched with a black Onyx top and also opted for the Blackline Specification package, which darkens all the usual chrome exterior details. The last icing on the cake is the body-colored wheels, which will make many people turn their backs due to the unexpected paint job on the street.

The dramatic exterior required a matching interior. Bentayga EWB Azure owners spent the most time with Mulliner designers on this issue. And this can be seen very clearly in the final result.

First of all, they chose the most luxurious four-seater Airline Specification cabin available in this model. The main color for the seats and trim is Mandarin Orange leather, contrasted here with Imperial Blue leather from the Mulliner catalogue. The latter kind of reflects the bright exterior and combines interior and exterior aesthetics into a common design language. These two vibrant colors are joined by Kingfisher blue embroidery on the seats and floor mats.

The only one in the world

Peace of mind is brought to this combination by the porous Koa wood finish, which not only looks very natural, but is also produced in a sustainable way. This tree can be seen on the front, door trims and the backs of passenger tables. The ultimate sign of luxury and exclusivity here is the metal plaque on the door sills announcing that this is the only Bentley of its kind in the world, designed by the Peck family.

This is just one example of where the pursuit of creating your dream car and the capabilities of the craftsmen at Mulliner can take you. Those who want to take advantage of this opportunity can visit the Bentley Vilnius showroom, where you can see the design elements offered by Mulliner up close and test one of the most luxurious SUVs in the world, the Bentayga EWB, or any other Bentley model.
