According to A. Duda, he constantly spoke about the need to stop Russian imperialism to everyone, but primarily to American politicians.

When asked about D. Trump’s opinion on the war in Ukraine and the US commitments, A. Duda replied that he believed that the former US president agreed with the idea that the defeat of Russia also corresponds to the strategic interests of the US.

“If the Ukrainians are not given help, it could end in a catastrophe,” the Polish president said, stressing that Russia could continue to pursue its imperialist goals and attack other countries.

“That’s when US military intervention will be needed,” he continued, adding that in such a situation “as in World War I and World War II, US and Canadian soldiers will have to come to Europe, fight on its fronts, and die there.”

“Such a situation today can be avoided by providing financial support,” said A. Duda.

“And it is definitely more beneficial for the US taxpayer to stop this war with money than by sacrificing the lives of American soldiers,” the Polish president claimed.

A. Duda also warned about the great threat posed by the new Russian attack. “It must be stopped at any cost,” the Polish leader declared.

After praising the decision of the US House of Representatives to approve 61 billion dollar aid package for Ukraine, A. Duda emphasized that US aid is “absolutely necessary”.

“I am glad that this decision was made. It is very important. I am happy because it means that Ukraine will be able to effectively fight against Russian aggression,” the Polish president said in an interview.
