“The external audit of the company’s quality management and environmental protection systems was carried out by the international certification company Bureau Veritas Lit. After an almost year-long standards implementation project, during the audit, the activities of the central terminal, professional management in the stores, and high-level competences of the trade network consultants were particularly positively evaluated.

“In retail trade, especially in large retail chains, large flows of customers are served every day, and the range of goods sold and services provided is enormous. The auditors made sure that the competence of product group consultants working in “Senukų” stores is really high, their qualifications are constantly raised and maintained”, notes Aloyzas Mikšys, Head of the Certification Department of Bureau Veritas Lit.

The auditors highlighted that the company not only implements the established environmental goals to reduce waste generation and negative impact on the environment, but also effectively implements an advanced environmental goal – reducing the generation of plastic waste and purposefully organizing the recycling of plastic waste.
