Speaking to reporters, Silvester Belt said that first, after going to Malmö, he will check whether all the suitcases and clothes have arrived with him.
“Now we count 6 suitcases, they contain basic clothes, we cannot compress them. We will have at least one combination for each day, there will be about 30 of them when mixing everything,” Silvester Belt said with a smile.
According to the performer, the interior of his stage is decorated with one small thing, as the guy said, it is not visible, but every time you step on the stage, it will make you experience a wonderful feeling.
Silvester Belt did not hide that he still does not understand the idea of support that he receives from people, he tries not to think that the moment will soon dawn when he will stand on the Eurovision stage.
“I want to stay calm inside, but seeing you here brings tears to my eyes. I really hope that the people of Lithuania will not feel the changes in the performance, because we carefully improved and increased everything. In Malmö, we will be able to make use of the stage floor, where we can see visuals. We also changed our clothes a little, but not too much. The mood, the darkness, the colors are the same, everything is just better, stronger and more”, Silvester Belt did not hide.

When asked who will come to support him, the guy said that his mother, sister, father, friends promise to watch the performance in Malmö.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing them, I’d like them to bring peace and the smell of home,” said the artist.
It is true that the Lithuanian also shared his impressions after his various performances held abroad in recent months. Silvester Belt said that all the participants of the song contest, whom he met during the concerts, are very friendly and in a good mood.
“We have become friends with some of them, we do not feel competition. And there are quite a few favorites, I would say that there are about 5 countries that could win, but you need to see the performances, their overall picture,” said the guy.
The performer representing Lithuania also spoke about his expectations in the competition. According to him, the most important thing is not to think about the results as much as possible.
“I think if I stay calm, everything will work out just fine.” We want to get to the final, be at the top of the table and win,” Silvester Belt smiled.
The performer did not hide that he felt great support not only from Lithuanians, but also from people living abroad.
“That’s why I feel calm, there can be no fears. Indeed, it is a very strange feeling when foreigners sing in Lithuanian with foreign accents”, said the performer.
After the journalists’ questions, Silvestro was also presented with a symbolic gift from the sponsors – a small cushion. It turns out that the artist who spoke about peace more than once will be able to carry it throughout the competition.

Spain is among the countries that listen to the Lithuanian Eurovision song the most. So “Luktelk” sounded in Madrid, and then Silvester took the stage at the Eurovision party in Barcelona.

“It’s good to hear how a full hall, where probably no one speaks Lithuanian, sings along. “Many people I met repeat that our language makes the song interesting and catchy, it makes them laugh,” he said.
During these parties, the performers not only meet fans and the media, but also get to know each other. Silvestras emphasizes that there is a friendly and not a competitive atmosphere among the participants. During the first outings, he already managed to communicate with representatives of Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Ireland and Finland, as well as meet Olly Alexander, who is carrying the flag of the United Kingdom to Malmö, whose previous work in the group “Years & Years” is familiar not only to Silvestre, but also for a frequent Lithuanian listener.
On April 13, this year’s Eurovision contestants traveled to Amsterdam. The Eurovision in Concert event organized in the capital of the Netherlands since 2009 took place in one of the city’s main concert halls, AFAS Live.
The support of foreign Lithuanians is also important
As the time until the start of the big “Eurovision” melts away rapidly, preparations for Lithuania’s performance are in full swing. The support of Lithuanians living abroad will be extremely important in the first semi-final on May 7, and in case of success, in the grand final on May 11.
The innovation introduced in last year’s competition voting has been expanded this year. In the semi-final, in which Lithuania will appear, not only the countries participating in it and Sweden, the United Kingdom and Germany who have places in the final, but also viewers in countries not participating in the competition will be able to vote. These votes will be combined into one “rest of the world” group. The organizers recently announced that this year the voting of non-participating countries will begin even 24 hours before the show, so Lithuanians around the world will have more time to express their support with their votes.
During his tours, Silvester Belt also met with several Lithuanian communities in Europe. According to him, the strong support of his compatriots inspires and encourages him to achieve the best result.
“We are intensively preparing to prepare the best possible Lithuanian performance,” said the performer.
