1. Opening of the Vilnius region motorcyclist season in 2024

The Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra traditionally invites you to spend the eve of Mother’s Day pleasantly. This time, the audience’s favorite duo – Edmundas Seilius (tenor) and Kristina Zmailaitė (soprano) joins the team. The concert dedicated to Mother’s Day will feature the golden fund of popular classics and Lithuanian pop songs, as well as well-known arias from operas and musicals. The Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra will be conducted by maestro Karolis Variakojis, a conductor of the young generation who managed to earn the recognition of the audience for his suggestive interpretations. What could be a better gift for mom than a music program that exudes lyricism and elegance?

5. Seedling fair

Trade park “UNA” in 2024 May. On the 4th day, you are invited to the seedling fair.

At the fair you will find a variety of annuals, vegetables, herb seedlings, perennial flowers, garden plants, decorative plants and much more that you may need to nurture your yard, garden or garden.

Pianist and composer Giedrius Nakas, known to many from his concert activities with such Lithuanian performers and groups as “Saulės Kliošas”, A. Mamontovas, Jurga, M. Linkytė, M. Liu, “Vilnius Jjazz Ensemble” and many others.

7. “Body&Soul” | The Mass by Steve Dobrogosz

Where? St. John’s Church When? From 7:00 p.m.

The Chamber Orchestra of Vilnius University (VU) (artistic director Modestas Jankūnas) and the Brussels Choir “Lassenne Vocale” (artistic director Ivan Yohan) present the concert “Body&Soul”, in which Steve Dobrogosz’s jazzy “Mišios” will be played.

Unconventionally written for mixed choir, piano and string orchestra, Steve Dobrogosz’s Mass is an original chamber music work with romantic and jazz influences. In the mass, the religious text and the intonations of human feelings and passion are intertwined. A version of this piece for mixed choir, piano and string orchestra will be presented on May 4 at 7 p.m. St. John’s Church in Vilnius, and the piano part will be performed by pianist Eglė Andrejevaitė.

8. Vilnius Collectors Club

The Vilnius Collectors Club invites everyone who wants to visit the collector’s event, which takes place every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the “KAROLINA” hotel.

You can find a variety of coins, banknotes, stamps, postcards, antique dishes, furniture, medals, awards, military paraphernalia, silverware, porcelain, household appliances, clocks, music records, paintings, artwork, work tools, rakes and more. By communicating, you will learn the history of those times, the circumstances, the purpose of using things, their value, current news and other interesting information. The club regularly receives foreign guests who also bring their collections, exchange and trade.
