Portal “The Sun” announces that on May 4 J. Galuško shot his fellow soldiers in the heart and chest at close range while they were sleeping. This attack caused a shock in the Russian army. He was said to be part of the howitzer artillery battalion of the 10th Tank Regiment, which was deployed in the Russian-occupied Donetsk region in southeastern Ukraine.

Escaped with a Kalashnikov assault rifle
J. Galushko escaped with his Kalashnikov AK-12. The suspect is believed to be from the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, and later moved to Belgorod region of Russia, where was imprisoned.
J. Galushko was then one of the hundreds of thousands of convicts recruited into the Russian forces in exchange for freedom if they survived the hard battles at the front. It is unclear why he was imprisoned. He joined the army on February 28.
Received a response
Reacting to the killings, the Ukrainian Telegram channel Krymskij Veter wrote: “This is how every Ukrainian who was drafted into the occupation army should behave.”
A report on the Telegram channel Project BARS called him an “animal”. This channel is known to be related to reservists of the Russian army.
“Maybe he will try to cross over to the other side of Ukraine,” the unidentified informant said in the channel’s audio recording.
There is no official confirmation of the killings yet, but a document has surfaced that appears to be related to a warning to arrest him.
It reads: “In 2024 May 4 junior sergeant Galuško, who, according to preliminary data, killed 6 soldiers of the howitzer artillery battalion of the 10th tank regiment, disappeared with an AK-12 personal weapon. Movement crypts are unknown.”
He instructed the soldiers
Military personnel are instructed: “In case of detection, immediately inform the deputy chief of staff for military service and security of military service.”
A Ukrainian statement said he was originally from Ukraine and “was forced to fight for the Russian Federation.
It is known that the 10th tank regiment, to which Mr. Galushko belonged, took part in the brutal battle for Avdiyivka, which was captured by Russia in February.
These alleged massacres occurred as Russians celebrated the Orthodox Easter.
