GUR notes that at the end of April, the Russian Armed Forces had about 40 units of 3M22 hypersonic anti-ship missiles “Zirkon”.
At the same time, it is reported that Russia produces up to 10 missiles of this type per month.

In addition, there are 400 3M55/3M55M Oniks/Oniks-M cruise missiles. They are also produced up to 10 units per month.

Russia also has 270 3M-14 Kalibr cruise missiles. And at the same time can produce up to 30-40 units per month.

GUR reports that the country’s aggressor has 45 Ch-69 guided air missiles in its arsenal. They are produced only 1-3 units per month.

Aviation expert Anatoly Khrapchynskyi noted that Russia began attacking Ukraine with Zircon missiles, which are almost entirely made up of foreign elements. This missile is ballistic. It can be launched by the Russians from Crimea, so its arrival time is very short.

The Oniks missile is supersonic and anti-ship, making it difficult for Ukrainian air defense systems to defeat. It is convenient for the Russians to use such weapons in coastal areas.

In addition, in order to terrorize and intimidate Ukrainians, Russia attacks daily with cruise missiles, such as Kalibr, which are launched both from ground-based operational-tactical complexes “Iskander” and from ships. And, most unpleasantly, the missiles are launched from territories that are inaccessible to Ukrainian weapons. The Kalibr missile can fly more than 1,500 km.

Earlier, the Defense Express publication, citing its sources, reported that the occupiers used new Ch-69 cruise missiles, with which they managed to completely destroy the most powerful power plant in the Kyiv region, the Trypili power plant.

Ilya Yevlash, a representative of the command of the Ukrainian Air Force, noted that this has not yet been officially confirmed. He said the Ch-69 missile is an improved version of the Ch-59. He admitted that the Ch-69 is a new missile for Ukraine. I. Jevlaš said that it is likely that Patriot will also be able to counter it, as it has fought with even more sophisticated types of missiles, such as Cirkon and Kinzhal.
